Matt Dunbar
CEO
I’m the Chief Executive Officer of Sunergy Construction. I was born in San Bernardino, CA and raised in Rialto. I was rooted in hard work and customer satisfaction at a young age while helping my father’s family tree business.
I attended Rialto High School and played on the varsity golf team to honor his cancer stricken grandfather who taught him the game. After graduation I started my apprenticeship with the operating engineers and in 2003 received the Apprentice Of The Year award. Some of my notable jobs include the Diamond Valley Lake Reservoir, the 210 freeway extension, The 110 freeway widening, the 215 freeway widening and the 91 freeway widening.
I’m a registered contractor with the California Contractors State License Board (CLSB). My spare time is devoted to my wife and five kids and to God and his church for which he credits all of his accomplishments to have been made possible. I was the 2015 Valedictorian for Truth Tabernacle Bible College. My motto is hard work , honesty, and above all else, customer satisfaction.
Jonathan Mitchell
President
I’m a Southern California native and I’ve been involved in sales, management and recruiting for more than 10 years.
I joined Sunergy Construction in March of 2015 as the company’s President. Before that, I worked as a district sales manager at Vivint Solar, one of the largest installers of home solar systems in the United States. Prior to that, I was a market manager at Verizon Wireless.
I’m a graduate of Grossmont College in San Diego County where I studied business administration and management. During college I also played football.
I’ve volunteered many hours working with underprivileged teens and I’m active in my local church.
Corey Haywood
Operations Manager
I’m the Operations Manager for Sunergy. I have been here for about a year and a half now. I have been here since the start when Sunergy was just a sales force.
My previous experience with electrical and solar is pretty extensive.
I started doing electrical in 2005 when I was 19 years old. I later jumped into the solar world as a solar installer in 2008. From there I moved around a bit to gain experience on various projects including getting a education in IBEW Local 440. I have done a little bit of everything, from working on 550 megawatt projects to building solar systems on air force bases to building a large solar system in Hawaii.
Jennifer Farias
Office & Sales Administrator
I’m the Office & Sales Administrator at Sunergy Construction. I enjoy the fast paced environment here and providing admin support to the rest of the Sunergy team. I am excited about the future of our fast growing company!
My background experience is in office/project management and administration with some finance. I started in Solar in 2010 at Mohr Power Solar, where I was the Sales Administrator. Before joining the team here at Sunergy Construction Inc. I worked as a Project Manager for Sunwize Technologies Inc.
On a personal level, my faith is the rock of my life. I enjoy volunteering at my church with my husband. I recently became an empty nester so I spend time with my kids and grandbabies as much as possible. I also enjoy theme parks, party planning, cooking, and home decor.
